1999 Hall of Fame Better Ball Columbia Country Club September 25 - 26 Columbia: Matt Harbin and Brad Krapfel teamed up to win the 15th Annual Hall of Fame Better Ball. The duo used consistent play and local knowledge to edge out two other teams by one shot. Krapfel, a resident of Columbia and Country Club member, and Harbin, from Aiken, had 8 birdies and two bogeys to shoot their second 6 under par 66 in the event. Randy Adams and Chad Thomasson and Walter and T.D. Todd finished one shot back at 133. The First Flight was won by one shot by Tim Becham and Bruce Gantt of Lancaster and Chester. Two teams tied for first place in the Second Flight. Michael and Robbie Gravley of Greer tied Billy Smith and Mark Giles of Irmo and Columbia at 144. 60 teams competed in the 15th Annual Hall of Fame Better Ball held at Columbia Country Club.
