work is all about as they shot a final round score of 62 to claim first
place in the SCGA Mid-Am Four Ball. Ezell, of Rock Hill, seemed like a
man possessed as he started out birding the first four out of five holes.
With the day’s lone bogey on hole 7, the pair made the turn with a front
nine score of 32. The two quickly got hot again as Thaxton of Simpsonville
birdied hole #10 and Ezell birdied holes 12, 13, & 14. The victory
was clinched after Thaxton made two impressive birdies coming in on 17
& 18.
The first round leaders, Brad Krapfel and Robert Dargan, got off to somewhat of a slow start but shot 32 on the back side for a score of 68, good enough to claim second place. Lee Palms and John Dennis shot their second consecutive 67 to take the third position.

Cross Creek C.C. in Seneca, SC. The 64 teams are comprised of individuals
over the age of 30.
