The South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation has unveiled a new "First in Golf,"
license plate. These are official state licensed plates and must be
registered through the SC DMV. The First in Golf license plates are
available NOW!! Don't delay as the lower numbers are going quickly.
A portion of all proceeds raised from the sale of these plates goes directly
to the South Carolina Junior Golf Association to help fund their many
programs. You can go to www.scjga.org for more details on the SCJGA. These
funds will also provide scholarships and fund the Junior Golf Land
operations growing across the state.
The cost of the plate will be $70 in addition to regular fees and taxes.
However you DO NOT need to wait until your tags need renewal to purchase a
"First in Golf," license plate. You may purchase a plate at any local DMV
office, or by calling the SCGA office (803)732-6205, or even download the
