Sunshine Greets SCGA One-Day Players

After tremendous down pours this past week the sun finally came out and greeted the 118 players Sunday at the wonderful Monticello Golf Course located in McCormick, SC. Conditions were still a little damp but the sun was out and no one was complaining about that.

John Clark from the Country Club of Newberry came to Monticello and fired a tournament low 76 to capture the one-day title. Clark bet Wayne Hughes of High Meadows by one shot to take the victory. Also returning home a winner was Stan Coleman of Whitmire who shot our low net for the day with a 66. Coleman playing in the C Class won by one shot over two other competitors.
