Sixty Show at Sweetwater

On a clear day compared to what we have experienced lately, 60 players participated in the SCGA One Day event. Walt Inabinet playing at his home golf club toured the course in a tournament low 73 shots to win the gross side of the event. The Net winner was Bobby McCord of the Greater Columbia Golf Association, who won by a score card playoff over Carl Gooding of Sweetwater Country Club.

Flight winners include Carl Gooding who won the "A" Flight, Bobby McCord who won the "B" Flight, but also the low net. The "C" Flight was won by Wayne Inabinet of Sweetwater and the "D" Flight title was taken by Tom Larsson was plays at Parris Island. The players with the closest shots on the Par 3's were Bobby McCord on #10 and on #14 Todd Lindsey of Hidden Valley Country Club.
