GAUSE WINS AGAIN!

Bobby Gause, from the Country Club of Orangeburg, won the SCGA Senior One-Day at Three Pines Country Club April 3rd to continue his streak of at least one win each year for the past five years. Gause cruised to a four-shot low gross 71 win over local player Jack Powers, and Thomas Harrison from Rolling "S", who posted a pair of 75’s.

On an ideal day, probably the nicest of the year, Gause had one bogey on each side, but made three short birdie putts to post his one-under score. Overall, the players enjoyed superb putting surfaces, and net scores reflected the good weather conditions. Harrison, a frequent SCGA player, won his age group with a career round of 75-13=62 (adjusted to 63), Powers had a 75-11=64, and both Tom Badger and Eddie Nunn from Three Pines won their age groups with net 66 scores.
