Dargan & Krapfel Win in Playoff

Robert Dargan and Brad Krapfel needed a birdie on the first extra hole to capture the Lefty Righty Championship over Colby Hyduke and Billy Burrows.  Both teams finished regulation play at eight under par, 136.  This is the third time the Columbia tandem of Dargan and Krapfel have teamed to win the Lefty Righty Championship.

In the First Flight, last years co-champion Stan Sill and Arthur Yex won by three shots with a 146 total.  Rollis Evans and Bubba Bolen took the Second Flight honors with a score of 151.

In the 36th SCGA Lefthanders Championship, Robert Dargan took his fifth individual title with a final score of 147.  Fort Jones shot a second round score of 74 for a 155 finish and a four stroke victory in the First Flight.  In the Second Flight, Frank Ferguson & Rollis Evans tied at 168, five clear of their nearest competitors. 

The 2007 SCGA Lefty-Right Championship and the SCGA Lefthanders Championship were played on the par 72, 6,347 yard, Lake Marion Golf Club in Santee, South Carolina. The Lefty-Righty and the Lefthanders Championship are part of an 18 event major tournament schedule conducted by the South Carolina Golf Association.
