Galbavy captures second
40 Plus of 2007
Ed Galbavy won his second 40 Plus event of 2007 at
Musgrove Mill Golf Club with a point total of 35.
Playing Stableford format, Galbavy carded four birdies en route to victory.
Ken Kirkland of Simpsonville
finished alone in second place with 33 points.
In the net division,
Michael Ramsey of Chapin and Sammy Butler of Irmo tied for first place by
equaling
there point quotas for the day.
The 40 Plus is a series of events conducted for the “baby boomer” golfers
across South Carolina, over the age of 40.
The field consisted of 92 players, playing on the 6423 yard Musgrove Mill
Golf Club in Clinton, SC. This event was the
sixth of seven 40 Plus events the SCGA will conduct in 2007. The 2007 40
Plus finale will be held on December 9th and 10th
at the Reserve Club in Pawleys Island, SC.
