15th Annual Mixed Team Championship
Champions are Crowned
Hampton Hall Club & Pine Crest Golf Club - Bluffton, SC: Lea Anne Brown & Todd White teamed together to shoot a tournament score of nine under par 134 to win the Championship Division of the Mixed Team Championship (October 13-14, 2012).
This is the first year the two have played together but this is the fourth Championship that Brown has been a part of. White is her third partner to celebrate a team victory.
In the Senior Division, Karen Ferree and Bob Rickman defended their title by five shots after finishing with a total of 141.
The 2012 WSCGA/SCGA Mixed Team Championship was played at the Hampton Hall Club and Pine Crest Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. The field consisted of 86 man & woman teams playing a Best Ball format the first day and a Chapman format the second day. Teams that played at one course the first day played the other respective course on Sunday. The Mixed Team Championship is one of 19 Championships that the SCGA conducts throughout the year.
