Handicap Seminars
The South Carolina Golf Association offers free Handicap
Seminars to any member club that wishes to host one. Any club
looking to earn certification and licensing can
visit the USGA website
for the
On Line Certification Seminar. The on
line seminar is conducted in
conjunction with the USGA Handicap Certification Program (2008-2011). Seminars
are geared for anyone who wants to know more about the USGA Handicap System—from
the novice to the well-seasoned veteran of the system. If your club is
interested in hosting a seminar in the future, feel free to contact us at (803)

USGA Certification Seminars scheduled for 2010:
Florence Country Club, April 7th (conducted by the USGA)
Daniel Island Club, June 14th (conducted
by the SCGA)
Country Club of Spartanburg, August 17th (conducted by the
SCGA)

ALL CLUBS THAT COMPLETED THE LICENSING PROGRAM IN THE 2005-2007 TERM ARE LICENSED THROUGH 2011, PROVIDED THEY COMPLETE THE PROGRAM AGAIN BY DECEMBER 31, 2011.
