Wayne Rogers of Easley shot an even par round of 72 that was good
enough to secure victory at the
40 Plus event held at the Patriot Golf Club at Grand Harbor. Kevin
Hester finished alone in second
with a two over par 74. Seven players tied for third with three over
par 75.

Kiawah’s Mike Weiner came back from a nine shot deficit with a final
round of 68
and a tournament total of 217 to capture the 50th Annual Senior
Championship at Greenville Country Club’s Chanticleer course.

Bright Takes Trophy!!
With the heaviest of rains falling, the 40+ Series at Woodcreek
Farms
was decided by the flip of a coin after Mike Bright & Doug Edwards
both
finished with rounds of one under par 71. Bright made the
right call and walked away with the hardware and a victory after a
long wet day on the links.

Burgess & Hammersla Claim Championship
Jimmy Burgess and Bob Hammersla shot a final round of 68 for a two
day total of 131 to win the SCGA Senior Four Ball Championship at
Wachesaw Plantation. Johnny Dennis and Frank Wrenn from Greenville
finished second at 134, three shots back.
