Reeves & Reeves Come Together for Victory

The father-son duo of Rob & Crawford Reeves teamed together to shoot nines of 32-34 for a six under par 66 and are now the 42nd Champion team of the SCGA Father-Son Championship. This title is the second in five days for Crawford as he also won the Carolinas Amateur title on June 21st at Old Field Golf Club.

Coming in second was the local team of David & Jonathan Dupre of Blythewood at four under par 68. Defending champions, TD & Thomas Todd along with Mike & Matt Metz and past champions Steve and Chase Liebler finished tied for third at two under par. The format was select drive, alternate shot.

The 2009 SCGA Father-Son Championship was conducted on The Windermere Club, a par 72, 6,532 yard Pete & P.B. Dye design, nestled in Blythewood, South Carolina. The Father-Son Championship is part of a 19 event major tournament schedule conducted by the South Carolina Golf Association.
