The senior version of the SCGA's popular
Trescott Championship, the Lathrop Cup is a team event comprised of members
of the same golf club who are the age of 55 years and older. The three
senior amateurs combine their aggregate score from each hole to compete for
the Lathrop Cup. During the course of play, a Pro-Am is also conducted
with the three amateurs and their Club Professional (Club professional can
be of any age) using the best two gross balls per hole. The Lathrop Cup is
a great opportunity for members and their Professional to spend a day
together and compete against other SCGA Member clubs throughout the State.
