Laydon and Connelly are Champions

After a two hour lightning delay and a second suspension of play, the final round of the Mid Amateur Four Ball Championship has been canceled and Matt Laydon and Darrell Connelly have been declared 2010 Champions.

With sever storms in the area and dwindling opportunities to get the remainder of the field through the final 18 holes safely, the final results have been based on the first round scores.     

The 2010 SCGA Mid Amateur Four Ball Championship was played on the par 70 – 6,591 yard Seth Raynor designed Yeamans Hall course in Hanahan, SC.  The field consisted of 63 two-man teams playing Best Ball format conducted over thirty six holes. The Mid Amateur Four Ball Championship is one of 19 Major Championships conducted annually by the South Carolina Golf Association.
