13th Annual WSCGA/SCGA Mixed Team Championship

Beautiful Weather Greets Mixed Team Participants
Mother Nature smiled upon the 146 participants in the first round of the 13th
Annual Mixed Team Championship being held in Bluffton, SC. Along with the
wonderful weather was some pretty good golf played over the Hampton Hall and
Pinecrest golf courses.
In the Championship Division Todd and Cass Manley from Moncks Corner hold a one
shot lead over two other teams after shooting a first round score of three under
par 69. Playing a Four Ball format the first day at Hampton Hall the Manley’s
head into the second round at Pinecrest trying to hold off Shawn and Lea Venable
from Simpsonville and the Defending Champions, Steve Agazzi and Sara Youngner.
In the Senior Division, Dean and Carolyn Gosnell along with Geary and Vicki
Sharber, out of the first flight, shot an even par score of 71 at Pinecrest to
hold a one shot lead over Steve and Carol Pachol.
The 2010 WSCGA/SCGA Mixed Team Championship is being played at the Hampton Hall
Club and Pinecrest Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. The field consists of 73 man &
woman teams playing a Best Ball format the first day and a Select Drive
Alternate shot format the second day. Teams that played at one course the first
day will play the other respective course on Sunday
