The Trescott Championship, named after the
former long time SCGA Secretary George C. Trescott, is a unique Club
Championship where three amateur members from a club combine their aggregate
score from each hole to compete for the Trescott Cup. During the
course of play, a Pro-Am is also conducted with the three amateurs and their
Club Professional using the best two gross balls per hole. The
Trescott Championship is a great opportunity for members and their
Professional to spend a day together and compete against other SCGA Member
clubs throughout the State.
