2022 SCGA Tournament of Champions – Event Cancellation
After much discussion between the SCGA and TPC Myrtle Beach staff, the decision has been made to cancel the 2022 Tournament of Champions. Unfortunately, there will be no reschedule for the TOC due to scheduling conflicts and full schedules by both TPC Myrtle Beach and the SCGA. The SCGA will be refunding each player the full entry fee.
We have played in cold/rain/etc. for the Tournament of Champions many times but the forecast this weekend looks to provide lower temperatures than usual. Friday is forecasting rain for practice rounds plus freezing temperatures at night, Saturday has a high of 38 with 25-30 mph winds and a low of 21, and Sunday barely reaches in the 40’s. With all of this being said, TPC Myrtle Beach will be covering greens and closing down completely for the weekend.
We apologize for any inconvenience this will cause, but we feel that for player safety, course safety, and cancelling in a timely manner, this is the best decision for the TOC.
