South Carolina Junior Golf Association

The South Carolina Junior Golf Association was formed in 1990 by community leaders to operate under the auspices of the SCGA. Access to the game through affordable grassroots golf programs were the main focus of the SCJGA. Nearly 20 years later, the SCJGA provides opportunities in the game for all skill levels in a true stepping stone approach to the game of golf.

 

South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation

The South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation was founded in 1995 in order to provide funding for the South Carolina Junior Golf Association. Since 1995, the SCJGF annually exceeds $500,000 in generated revenues to support educational and recreational programs for youth in South Carolina.

 

Youth on Course Carolinas

The core purpose of Youth on Course is to provide youth with access to life-changing opportunities through golf. Members play thousands of courses for $5 or less, benefit from employment through the caddie and internship program, and receive college scholarships. In the United States Youth on Course serves all 50 states. 

 

Drive, Chip & Putt

A joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America, Drive, Chip and Putt is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf. By tapping the creative and competitive spirit of girls and boys ages 7-15, Drive, Chip and Putt provides aspiring junior golfers an opportunity to play with their peers in qualifiers around the country. Local qualifying is typically available in all 50 states.
