Five Advance from Stono Ferry to the US Junior Amateur

Ryan Jahr (Ocean Isle Beach, NC), Sam McMillan (Mount Pleasant, SC), Jack Seward (Florence, SC), Jay Wilkins (Simpsonville, SC), and Charles Cauthen (Columbia, SC) have all qualified at the Links of Stono Ferry - (6,720 yards, Par 72) in Hollywood, SC to advance to the 2022 US Junior Amateur at Bandon Dunes.

Ryan Jahr, Sam McMillan, and Jack Seward shared medalist honors with a three under score of 69.

Charles Cauthen outlasted Teddy Dunn (Blythewood, SC), Dallas Johnson (Mount Pleasant, SC), Zach Adams (Charleston, SC), and Luke Sullivan (Columbia, SC) to claim the final qualifying spot after a six-hole playoff. Teddy Dunn will be the first alternate and Dallas Johnson the second alternate.

81 players started the event playing for five spots and two alternates in order to advance to the 2022 United States Junior Amateur that will be conducted at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, OR on July 25 – 30, 2022.

This USGA Qualifier was conducted by the South Carolina Golf Association on behalf of the Carolinas Golf Association and the United States Golf Association.
