Herold & Jackson Claim Medalist Honors as Round Two Completed at Four-Ball

The second round of the 2022 SCGA Four-Ball Championship was completed on Friday morning after storms put a halt to play late Thursday afternoon. Once completed, the team of Zach Herold (Lexington) & Sam Jackson (West Columbia) claimed the medalist honors with a two-day score of 14 under par 130.

Thirty-one teams have qualified for the Match Play portion of the event after two rounds of stroke play. Defending Champions Brent Delahoussaye (Greenville) and Charles Warren (Greenville) will be the top seed in Match Play by virtue of their victory in 2021.

The Match Play Round of 32 matches are currently underway at Musgrove Mill after a 10:15 shotgun start on Friday. The Round of 16 will begin Friday afternoon.

The 2022 SCGA Four-Ball Championship is one of 21 major championships conducted by the South Carolina Golf Association. The event is being played on the 6,779 yard, par 72 golf course at Musgrove Mill Golf Club in Clinton, South Carolina.
