30th Annual SCGA Partners Championship - First Round Results

Columbia, S.C. - Greeted with unseasonably warm temperatures for a March weekend, the opening round of the 30th Annual SCGA Partners Championshipwas filled with plenty of red numbers at Spring Valley Country Club and The Spur at Northwoods.

In the Championship Division, there is currently a four-way tie at the top of the leaderboard after impressive opening rounds of 12 under par 60. The leading teams consist of Zachary Herold (Lexington) & Sam Jackson (West Columbia), Cipriano Ayala (Elgin) & Ethan Bean (Cayce), Garland Ferrell (Greenville) & Michael Sims (Lexington), and Weston Bell (Piedmont) & Robert Lutomski (Simpsonville). 
 
The Championship Division will head to Spring Valley Country Club for the final round of competition on Sunday. 
 
In the Tournament Division, there is a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard between the teams of Anthony Richey (Anderson) & Cole Garrison (Easley), Brandon Barker (Greenville) & Austin Finley (Belton), and Brooks Massey (West Columbia) & Rusty Massey (Lexington). Each team began their SCGA Partners Championship with rounds of eight under par 64. 

The Tournament Division will play their final round at The Spur at Northwoods on Sunday. 
 
The final round will be contested as a modified Texas Scramble format and will begin with a 9:30 AM shotgun start Sunday morning.
