Two Teams Advance From Oldfield to 2024 U.S. Four-Ball Championship

The team of John Weiss (Florence, SC) and John Schaffer (Sumter, SC) along with the team of JD Lehman (Greenville, SC) and Matt Lehman (Dallas, TX) have both qualified at the Oldfield Club (7,142, Par 72) in Okatie, SC to play in the 2024 US Amateur Four-Ball Championship. Both teams were named qualifier co-medalists after shooting rounds of seven under par 65.


The team of Brent Roof (Columbia, SC) and Paul Tucker (Waxhaw, NC) will be the first alternates while the team of Jack Larkin Jr. (Atlanta, GA) and Zach Healy (Atlanta, GA) will be the second alternate team.


44 sides started the day playing for two spots and two alternate positions to participate in the 2024 United States Amateur Four-Ball Championship that will be conducted at Philadelphia Cricket Club in Flourtown, PA May 25-29, 2024.

This qualifier was conducted by the South Carolina Golf Association on behalf of the United States Golf Association and the Carolinas Golf Association.
