The Holly Tree Country Club team, led by professional Joe Jackson, finished in second with a Pro-Am score of sixteen under par 128.

The Trescott Championship, named after the former long-time SCGA Secretary George C. Trescott, is a unique Club Championship where three amateur members from a club combine their aggregate score from each hole to compete for the Trescott Cup.

During the course of play, a Pro-Am is also conducted with the three amateurs and their Club Professional using the best two gross balls per hole.

The 2024 Trescott Championship was conducted on the par 72 ~ 6,554 yard Three Pines Country Club. The Championship began with 22 teams consisting of a Club Professional and three amateurs. The combined scores of the three amateurs are used to determine the team score for the Trescott Championship while the two best balls of the four players are used to determine the Pro-Am score. The Trescott Championship is one of 21 Major Championships conducted by the South Carolina Golf Association and is in its 40th year of existence.
