Yancey Johnson of Simpsonville posted an impressive three-day tournament total of two-over par 218 to secure the 66th SCGA Senior Champion title. Firing three birdies today and finishing with a final round score of one-over par 73, securing the win by six shots.

“This week was really tough,” said Johnson. “The greens were really firm, and the wind was up, especially today. So judging some shots were really tough. The greens are really small, you just have to get there or it's a tough up and down. I struck the ball really well this week, but I putted even better, and I think that's what helped me. So, all in and out, it was a great day, great week, it was awesome!"

Chris Culler of Camden secured second place, finishing with an overall tournament score of eight-over par 224.
