Eddie Hargett Claims the 67th SCGA Senior Championship Title
AIKEN, SC (June 6, 2025) – Final round results of the 67th SCGA Senior Championship, hosted by Woodside Country Club in Aiken, SC on Friday, June 6, 2025.

Eddie Hargett of Okatie and Mims Liner of Irmo both finished at three-under par 213, forcing a one-hole playoff to determine the 67th SCGA Senior Champion. Hargett secured the title with a par on the playoff hole, while Liner finished as runner-up.
"I finished second so many times,” said Hargett. “In your own home state, with friends and people you care about — people you’ve played with forever — it just means a lot. I don’t want to necessarily say it’s a validation, but it feels like it. Without this, there would’ve been a big gap in everything I’ve done."
Thomas Kennaday of Aiken secured third place, finishing with an overall tournament score of two-over par 218.
The 2025 SCGA Senior Championship was played on par 72 - 6,472 yard course at Woodside Country Club in Aiken, SC. The starting field consisted of 80 players over the age of 55. The cut was made to 52 players after 36 holes. The Senior Championship is one of 21 Major Championships conducted annually by the South Carolina Golf Association.
