
Sam Jackson Crowned Champion of the 94th SCGA Amateur Championship
Spartanburg, SC (July 27, 2025) – Final round results of the 94th SCGA Amateur Championship hosted by The Carolina Country Club on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

After a strong finish, Sam Jackson of West Columbia was crowned champion of the 94th SCGA Amateur Championship. Jackson finished the tournament with an overall score of 17-under-par 271. He carded five birdies today, including a birdie on 18 to seal his victory. Jackson posted a final round score of three-under par 69 to claim the title.
"It means everything,” Jackson said when asked about what this win means to him. “This tournament is important to both my wife and I, and our family. These are our people out here, and it’s just an honor to be named champion.”
With this win, Jackson will advance to the U.S. Amateur Championship at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, California.
Jack Wieler of Bluffton secured second place with a three-under-par final round, finishing at 16-under-par 272.
Chase Cline of Chapin took third with an even-par 72 to finish at 15-under-par 273.
