Chris Eassy (Simpsonville) and Daniel Ezelle (Taylors) were victorious at the fifth SCGA 40 Plus Series event of 2025 that was contested on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Blackmoor Golf Club, after a round of six under par 65. 

In the Tournament Net Division, Dan Constantino (Greer) and Chris Ehlich (Landrum) took home first-place honors after posting a score of eight under par 63.

In the Senior Gross Division, Joe Hendrick (Chesterfield) and Daran Womack (Aiken) escaped with a victory after a scorecard playoff, with Rick Ingle (Winnsboro) and David Collins (Columbia). Both sides fired rounds of four under par 67.

In the Senior Net Division, the side of Mark Goodridge (Murrells Inlet) & John Oricco (Hilton Head Island) took home first place honors after firing a score of four under par 67.

In the Super-Senior Gross Division, the side of Ed Galbavy (Mt. Pleasant) & Phil Farley (Hannahan) took home first place honors after shooting a round of two under par 69.

In the Super Senior Net Division, the sides of Kevin Costello (Charleston) & Peter Lehman (Mt. Pleasant) and Fred Hyde (Mt. Pleasant) & Dennis Slezak (Mt. Pleasant) shared first place after finishing with a net score of two under par 69.

The 40 Plus is a series of events conducted for golfers across South Carolina, over the age of 40. The field consisted of 38 players playing Blackmoor Golf Club in Murrells Inlet, SC. This event was the fifth 40 Plus event the SCGA conducted in 2025. The next 40 Plus Event will be at Carolina Lakes Golf Club in Indian Land, SC on October 14th.
