Mulkey Captures Third Public Links Championship
CHARLESTON, S.C. – Chandler Mulkey of Johns Island captured the 5th Annual SCGA Public Links Championship after firing a final-round six-under-par 66 to finish with a 36-hole total of six-under-par 138. Mulkey carded five birdies and two eagles en route to his third SCGA Public Links Championship title. Jack Herron of Charleston and Levi Joiner of Prosperity finished tied for second with tournament totals of five-under-par 139.
The field was divided into four flights based on first-round scores for the final round. Bruce Michaels of Myrtle Beach won the First Flight after a final-round score of even-par 72 and a tournament total of four-over-par 148. Jake Milhorn of Lancaster finished atop the leaderboard in the Second Flight with a tournament total of ten-over-par 154. The Third Flight was won by Dan Cook of Charleston with a tournament total of 171.
