Seawell and Allen Emerge Victorious at The Aiken Golf Club Forty Plus Event

AIKEN, S.C. (March 17, 2026) – Brian Allen of Columbia and David Seawell of Aiken captured the Aiken Golf Club Forty Plus Series title after posting a 3-under-par 67. The duo claimed the victory via a scorecard playoff over the teams of Aiken’s Scott Robbins and Bo McCullough, and Hartsville’s Matthew Frye and Josh Frye, who also finished at 3-under 67.

 

In the Tournament Net Division, Bryan Tune of Williston and Henry Lancaster of Wagener earned top honors with an impressive 7-under-par 63. In the Senior Gross Division, Aiken’s Daniel Skiff and Grant Williams secured the win with a 5-under-par 65, while Thomas Kennaday and Daran Womack of Aiken finished second at 2-under 68.

 

In the Senior Net Division, Stephen Rokop of Simpsonville and Thel Pack of Greenville claimed first place with a 1-under-par 69. In the Super Senior Gross Division, Columbia’s Danny Stubbs and Pete Clough took top honors with a 2-over-par 72. In the Super Senior Net Division, Johnston’s Leon Gurevitch and Randy Yonce won with an even-par 70.

The Forty Plus Series is a statewide collection of events for golfers aged 40 and older. This tournament featured a field of 84 players competing at Aiken Golf Club in Aiken, S.C., and marked the third of eight events in the 2026 series. The next event is scheduled for April at Savannah Lakes Tara Golf Club in McCormick, S.C.
